We are excited to announce that Brad Smith, CAPT USN (Ret), President, Jacksonville Council Navy League is inviting the FD Roosevelt Sea Cadet parents to a Mixer in their honor. He and the JaxCouncil will be recognizing Sea Cadet parents and introducing the local council to you. The members are there to greet, meet and thank you for encouraging and supporting your sons/daughters’ participation in the U.S. Sea Cadets youth program.

You will also get to learn more about the Navy League and how you can join. You do not have to be current or former military (or Navy) to join this national Navy sailor and family support organization. The Navy League is a civilian organization of more than 50,000 members dedicated to keeping the American people and government officials informed about America’s national security requirements, and their relationship to our economic prosperity. The Navy League of the United States is the national supporter for the US Naval Sea Cadet Program and local councils like ours help support the individual units.

FDR Squadron is incredibly grateful to our local Jacksonville Council Navy League for their very generous financial and operational support – without which we would not be able to exist. Not all local councils are the same – this organization has helped make us one of the oldest, continuously operated, largest and best supported in the country! Come meet and thank these wonderful folks!
