League Cadet Advancement

HOW DO I GET PROMOTED?

To advance to the next rank, League Cadets must spend a certain time in their current rank, complete listed coursework (online course learning), and take certain trainings (in-person learning). Coursework consists of the League Cadet Syllabus.

Trainings are not required for League Cadets, however, we strongly encourage all LC1 cadets attend League Orientation. Not only will they learn much more about how to be a cadet, the US Navy, and much more in a fun - but hardworking - group environment, they will be much better cadets and more likely to be offered leadership opportunities in the unit. Also, if a League Cadet wants to attend some of the many exciting Advanced Trainings, they need to attend League Orientation first.
