HOW DO I DO MY COURSEWORK?
All coursework for FDR Sea Cadets consists of a PDF document containing reading chapters, followed in some cases by Review Questions. Assignments are open-book tests that cover one or more chapters of the reading. When you have completed all chapters associated with each assignment, open the Assignment question sheet and begin answering. Print an Answer Sheet to record your answers. You may refer to the full text of the reading in responding to questions. There is an Answer Sheet for for Sea Cadets and a different form for League Cadets - be sure to select the correct form. You can download them below.
Assignment 1 of the BMR covers Chapter 1: Policies and Programs and Chapter 2: Military Conduct and Justice.
Upon completing reading these two chapters, print out an Answer Sheet, open or print Assignment 1, and begin recording your answers to the questions listed.
**We recommend opening the BMR chapters on your computer screen (you may freely refer to it in answering the questions). You may also print the chapters and refer to them. Note that there may be more numbers on the Answer Sheet than in the Assignment. Assignments vary from 25-75 questions each.
WHAT DO I DO WHEN I HAVE COMPLETED AN ANSWER SHEET?
When you have completed your Answer Sheet, scan it and email them to the Administrative Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org.
You do not have to complete an entire course before sending in your answer sheets. Since these are hand graded, sending along as you complete them (and not all at once) allows us to enter grades faster. Do not bring a hard copy to drill as they can be misplaced.
If you do not have a scanner, you can take a clear picture from your phone and email them or, email the answers in the below format:
