WELCOME ABOARD!

Welcome to the F.D. Roosevelt Squadron of the United States Naval Sea Cadet Corps (NSCC) based at NAS Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Florida.

The NSCC is for American youth ages 10-17 who have a desire to learn about the Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard and Merchant Marine. Sea Cadets are authorized by the Secretary of the Navy to wear Navy uniforms appropriately marked with the Sea Cadet Corps insignia. The objectives of the Sea Cadet program are to introduce youth to naval life in a hands-on, real-world environment, to develop in them a sense of pride, patriotism, courage, and self-reliance, and to maintain an environment free of drugs and gangs.

Upcoming & Notices

FDR/TSR volunteer service project (3 hours). 15 Cadets.


Event: Jacksonville Elks Lodge officer installation dinner, and awards and recognition for Jacksonville fire fighters & police officers.


Duties: assisting with dinner service for 70 guest, serving, set-up, and cleanup as needed.


When: Saturday 28 March, 1700-2000.


Where: Jacksonville Elks Lodge. 1855 W. Road, Jacksonville 32216.


UOD: No Uniforms. Civilian clothes as follows: jeans/pants (no holes), belts, shirts with collars tucked. Dress type shoe.
